<p>It was time for Sophie, our 2-year-old, to join her siblings in the bunkroom. Up until now, she was sleeping in a pack and play in the middle of the living room—which worked, but wasn’t ideal for space or flow.</p><p><strong>Why We Needed a Change</strong><br>When we first got our Cougar 32BHS, we removed the fold-out sofa in the bunkroom to give the kids more play space. The color and style also work nicely with the rest of the bunkroom setup.</p><p>Measurements for Cougar 32BHS Owners If you have the same rig, here’s what the empty slide space in the bunkroom measures:</p><ul><li>Depth: 30 inches (back wall to edge of slide)</li><li>Width: 68 inches</li><li>Height: 37 inches at the front, 34.5 inches at the lowest point along the back wall<br>&nbsp;<p><strong>Install Notes</strong><br>I built it right inside the bunkroom. No way it would have fit through the door already assembled. It’s your typical allen wrench and hex bolt kind of build. Pretty easy overall, though it was a bit of a sweat fest since we weren’t on shore power and the AC was off.</p><p><strong>Why It Works for Any RV</strong><br>Even if you don’t have a 32BHS, this bed could still be a good fit. Just measure your space before ordering. It’s a great low-profile option for families with toddlers ready to transition out of a crib or pack and play.</p><p><strong>Final Thoughts</strong><br>We’re really happy with this little upgrade. Sophie now has a comfy place to sleep, and we finally got the pack and play out of our main living space.
